Family-Operated San Luis Obispo County Painters Since 1976

About Trombley Painting Company

Same Family. Same Standards. Two Generations and Counting.

Meet Christina Trombley

Christina Trombley is the second-generation owner of Trombley Painting Company. She grew up around the family business, started working in it at 16, and took ownership in 2024 after roughly a decade of hands-on experience across estimates, project management, and crew leadership.

Taking over a 50-year-old painting company from your father is not a small responsibility. The customers who hired Steve Trombley in the 1990s are still calling today, and they expect the same standards. The crews who built their careers under Steve are still on the job sites. The reputation built across half a century either continues forward or it does not.

Christina’s approach has been straightforward: keep what worked, fix what did not, and build the next 50 years on a stronger foundation. That has meant tightening the quote process so estimates are written and fixed. It has meant adding daily project updates so customers are not chasing for status.

It has meant putting a 3-year workmanship warranty on every job. And it has meant being one of the few woman-owned painting companies on the Central Coast in a trade where that is still rare.

Christina lives in Paso Robles. She is on every project at the estimate and walkthrough stages. When you call Trombley Painting Company, you are calling a real local owner who has a personal stake in the work that goes out under our name.

Our Mission

Trombley Painting Company exists to do good painting work for San Luis Obispo County homeowners and businesses. We have done it the same way since Steve Trombley started the company in 1976: show up when we said, charge what we quoted, finish what we started, and stand behind the work. The next 50 years will be built on the same standards as the first 50.

Our Core Values

Integrity

We tell you what we are going to do, and then we do it. We tell you what something costs, and then we charge that. If we make a mistake, we own it and fix it. Every quote is fixed. Every warranty is honored. No exceptions.

Craftsmanship

A finished paint job is the most visible thing about a home or business. We take that seriously. Prep work is most of the project, and we do it right, even when it is the part nobody sees. Sherwin-Williams Pro products on every job. The same crew from start to finish.

Reliability

Showing up on time, finishing on time, calling back, texting back, and going back to fix something that needs fixing. You can call us today and we will answer. You can hire us in 2030, and we will still be here.

Customer Focus

Every project is somebody’s home or business. We treat it the way we would want our own house treated, because Christina and most of the crew live in the same towns we paint in. Daily updates, clean job sites, and real walkthroughs at the end. The customer comes first, and that is not a slogan.
